The work schedule goes from Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4h30pm, and Friday 7am to 11am, for a total of 40 hours a week.

YOUR ROLE
The welder-assembler ensures productive assembly of ASME tanks using engineering plans and shop drawings.
DAILY TASKS
- Interpret welding symbols on shop drawings
- Prepare parts according to drawing specifications
- Position the parts following dimensions and instructions on engineering plans
- Adjust welding machine taking into account welding techniques, materials, and sheet thickness
- Perform non repetitive welding combining multiple techniques, all the while minimizing corrective steps
- Practise an optimal welding position, optimizing arc time and minimizing downtime
- List all necessary material for welding
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Welding and Fitting Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) or 3 to 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret industrial drawings and welding symbols
- Masters welding techniques (GMAW, FCAW)
- Good observation skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Sense of autonomy, resourcefulness, and is productive
- Respects health and safety regulations
