Assembler (Day)

The ideal position if you like to combine welding and other various manual tasks. We are looking for versatile, autonomous, and resourceful candidates to join our team.

The work schedule goes from Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4h30pm, and Friday 7am to 11am, for a total of 40 hours a week.


$22.92 to $28.01


The welder-assembler ensures productive assembly of ASME tanks using engineering plans and shop drawings.


  • Interpret welding symbols on shop drawings
  • Prepare parts according to drawing specifications
  • Position the parts following dimensions and instructions on engineering plans
  • Adjust welding machine taking into account welding techniques, materials, and sheet thickness
  • Perform non repetitive welding combining multiple techniques, all the while minimizing corrective steps
  • Practise an optimal welding position, optimizing arc time and minimizing downtime
  • List all necessary material for welding


  • Welding and Fitting Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) or 3 to 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial drawings and welding symbols
  • Masters welding techniques (GMAW, FCAW)
  • Good observation skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Sense of autonomy, resourcefulness, and is productive
  • Respects health and safety regulations
